The puffins on this box figurine are feeling frisky because it’s mating season, hence their bright beaks. The mouse is peaking out from underneath a puffin. Inside is a sand eel whose tail is curled in the shape of a heart. The rosette refers to Andrea’s horse winning the Best Horse in Show in summer 1996. Inscription “1 May 2001” is to remind Peter that on this date he can claim his money back on a set of VAS golf clubs that he bought in 1996. Hallmarks include ©, heart, HBC logo, ed.#, and Pc.
