The starting point for this box figurine came from a Steve Bell cartoon that Peter saw in the Guardian newspaper. It showed two pigs flying over the British countryside. This started Peter thinking about how pigs might fly. He came up with the ingenious idea of launching a pig off the back of another while strapped to a chicken! Peter says he didn’t do the math and has no idea what payload a chicken can lift, but the idea made him smile so he went with it! The pig doing all the running is trying to quit smoking, evidenced by the nicotine patch on his hind quarters.
