Note from Peter about "Ink Oink": While taking Sam and Millie swimming the other day, I think I spent as much time checking out other peoples’ tattoos as I did checking to make sure the children weren’t drowning. I felt like the only adult without a tattoo. . .I felt naked. I suppose that’s where the idea came for "Ink Oink". Researching tattoos was interesting, and I learned a new phrase - "tramp stamp". Did you know that in 2009, even Barbie came with a "tramp stamp" and other iron-on tattoos to celebrate her fiftieth birthday? Maybe that's why I think I need one. . .it might be a fiftieth thing. Next, I needed a "guinea pig" to practise my tattooing on, but then decided a guinea pig was too hairy. I wonder if anyone will figure out why my pig has the numbers 8-9-3 tattooed on its body. The interior of "Ink Oink" shows the Chinese symbol for the "Year of the Rabbit". |
