Three mellow hep cats get on their groove in this very limited edition box figurine, created for Fin-Alley Gifts' 2009 Summer of Love Tour. Inscribed on the lid are names of prominent 1960’s personalities: T. Leary, Dylan, Garcia, Joplin, Baez, and OSHO. The badge on one of the cats has the initials AH, for Albert Hofman, the Swiss chemist who discovered LSD and who died last year at the age of 102! “Powick” written under the guitar refers to Powick Hospital, a mental hospital that was ten miles from Peter’s childhood home where LSD was administered to many of the patients. The interior portrays Woodstock, not the famous 1969 music festival but Snoopy’s friend, the only Woodstock Peter knew as a boy.
