Master Carver Peter Calvesbert wonders why some people think that large cat skins look better on humans than on large cats. To show how misguided a fashion statement this is, Peter turns the tables and portrays large cats feeling glamorous in human skins! One hundred pieces from this limited edition of 1500 are adorned with some very private parts. On these box figurines, the interior reads “Members Only” (pun intended). The privates have been excised in the slightly less grotesque version and replaced with noses and thumbs. On this second model, the words “AMUR” and number 40 are found. This refers to the plight of the Amur leopard. It is estimated that only 40 specimens of this beautiful creature remain in the wild. The interior reads "hands off my coat". |
