The two bears at top left of this tile figurine are actually Lloyd investors. One carries a portfolio with "Lloyds Bears" written on it while the other rings a bell.Traditionally, Lloyds ring a bell in their offices whenever one of their insured ship sink. Below the bears is a kingfisher with dinner. Her nest is at top right. Next to the kingfisher are two beavers. One has a branch in her teeth as if to add to the dam already built. Her mate, wearing a hard hat, has taken a liking to the leg of a nearby Japanese crane, who looks down aghast. This must be a common misunderstanding as the other crane, seen drinking, has a bandaged leg. Floating close by is a message in a bottle. The lettering "SA" is the start of "Sarsons" vinegar. Notice the raccoons at bottom left. One swigs from a bottle of "6X" while the other attempts to pull a crab, putting up a good fight, out of the river. |
