The lake from "Swing Time" cascades over this tile figurine, and it appears that the waters haven't calmed. Top left, a water boatman rows for his life at the sign of a shark fin, unaware of the hungry fish behind him. An orante Chinese bridge frames the center, but even here there's drama as a bee attempts to rescue his friend from the open-mouthed carp. Is Lord Byron inside his chrysanthemum plant-a-tarium, at the foot of the bridge?
