The blossoms on the left of this tile figurine belong to a campanula plant, named for its resemblance to bells. Lord Byron has taken this to its logical conclusion, pulling down on a bell rope. To his right and above him are foxglove blooms. A little bug with Rip van Winkle hat uses one as a sleeping bag. Is Byron trying to awaken him or disrupt the studious centipede learning his A B C's? |
