A decade has passed since we first met Lord Byron, the romantic, adventurous ladybug of Harmony Garden fame. Chapter I provided our introduction, where Lord Byron took part in a multitude of engaging yet solitary pursuits. But he lived alone in his English garden and loneliness began to set in. As Chapter I closed, he approached a new bloom with a suitcase full of gifts, but the lady of the house mistook him for a traveling salesbug. He set off to nearby gardens in Chapter II, engaging in local adventures and meeting a lovely caterpillar. But it was not time to settle down, so he was last seen at the Sunflower Station, purchasing a ticket for places unknown. In Chapter III, he traveled throughout Europe, and his fame began to spread far and wide. Yet all of his adventures began to take a toll. Physically and mentally exhausted, he set off in Chapter IV on a spiritual quest, studying the world’s religions. Finding inner peace and newfound wisdom, he decided to embark upon one last cultural odyssey, this time to America. Finally, in Chapter VI, he returned home to the Cotswolds, married, and had a child. “Byron’s Bouquets” were created in homage to his newfound familial contentment. Your limited edition “Orchid” box figurine starts the as yet uncarved Chapter VII. Lord Byron is again alone, sitting at his desk. Is he compiling his memoirs? Or writing the next chapter in his unpredictable yet gallant adventures? |
