A basket of ripe, fresh fruits and flowers sparkle, having just been rinsed under an old-fashioned water spigot. Plump, juicy berries and a collection of gourds and flowers show off the range of autumn’s brilliant yellows, oranges, and regal purples. On the interior, Lord Byron visits some friends at their cottage. Under the harvest moon they rake the fallen leaves into a pile, anticipating the joy of jumping in them. Someone has a crush on Byron: his initials are carved inside a heart in the bark of a nearby tree. |
